In searching for a caterer for the company, I came across this marketplace. It is quaint, old fashioned country store/eat in place. The chefs there have, with the owners permission, blown away the so-called “box lunch”. Their ingredients are top of the line in freshness, some are even important from europe but you don’t pay the high price you would expect. They will deliver to your home/office for catering and have prepared dinners in their market that you can call, order and pickup on your way home. You just open the container and you could even put it on a plate, hide the container and your family will think you cooked this home cooking meal. Just make sure you sprinkle yourself with some flour to shown signs of work!

Ever get so hungry you could eat your fingers and want to run into the drive up windows but know that you will regret it. This place does not have a drive up but you can run into there, order a full grilled meal and protein drink, sit at a table and within minutes, they bring it to you on real plates – yes REAL plates with sliverware! Their prices are very reasonable – I average about $9-10 for a meal and you can be out of there within 15 minutes!

This establishment not only spent time with me on the phone to help me during my move – he sent over pizza and soda before closing and registered me into his computer for future deliveries – of which is many! Their pizza is crusty rather than bready, sauce is terrific and you can put anything on it! Their french fries (ask to over cook) are the best things I have had outside of diner fries with gravy. Potato skins are loaded with bacon and cheese….i could go on…...

If you like good, thick crust and lots of cheese on pizza – this is for you. I have moved out of the city but still go back for the pizza. The cooks are very pleasant and has that old fashioned charm about them!

Widoff’s may be a little difficult to park and get into but it is well worth it. Their pastry is light, fluffy and some things are unique to bakeries.
