sushi,fish, and real food
The sign along the 101 reads, “sushi,fish, and real food.” Inside the restaurant, the first thing I noticed was the blue glassed counter tops of their sushi bar and the pirate themed bar. Curious of the new restaurant, I walked around and each room was decorated differently from each other yet still having a unifying theme that is very much a socal vibe. The staff weas friendly and everyone greeted me with sincerity and a smile.
I had dinner in the indoor/outdoor room, the ceiling was covered with bamboo and thatched straw. Also,tall bamboo trees lined along the outdoor parameter of the restaurant.
I ordered their house salad and grilled mahi mahi for dinner. The service was good and the food delicious. Plus, they have live music on friday and saturday nights which makes for a great night. Give this restaurant a try and you know what, you might like it, and keep on coming back!
Dishes I tried:
house salad
Their house salad consisted of mix greens, seasonal fruits, and heart of palms. Also, the featured dressing I had was their blood orange vinegarette. The fruit was fresh and the greens crisp.
grilled mahi mahi
The mahi mahi came with roasted potatoes and veggies. The sauce was golden raisin coconut. The mahi mahi was excellent, not dry nor over cooked.
