Had a very tasty meal at Wolf Bay Lodge on a recent Sunday afternoon. They were a lot less crowded than on a typical Friday or Saturday night. There were 3 adults, 2 of whom ordered dinner platters and one of whom (me) ordered just a side salad and a cup of gumbo, knowing that the other two would have extras to share with me. We didn’t order appetizers or dessert. It worked out perfect. We finished everything we ordered, with no waste and no one feeling over-stuffed. Everthing was tasty and service was just right.

This restaurant is very popular – they don’t even have to advertise. I haven’t eaten there recently, but the food I’ve had before was quite good (fried seafood is what most people order). For the price, I prefer a nicer ambience, but it’s a great place to go with a group. For a slightly better bargain, go at lunch time. They also sell a lot of seafood gumbo in take home containers. CLOSED on Mondays!

Great food and pleasant dining environment but Cremcaffe was severely understaffed on a Sunday evening. Luckily, our party was not in a hurry and we enjoyed having plenty of time to socialize. They were unable to prepare one of our dessert selections (a crepe) as the cook had the stovetop monopolized with preparing entrees and they also ran out of tiramisu. Despite the dessert problem, we enjoyed our dinner very much and the staff was apologetic.
