Good For What it is-Fattening, Cheap Food

I happen to love this place-especially the pastrami, hamburgers, and onion rings. The food is admittedly greasy and artery-clogging, but it is soooo good if you are craving something that is just that.

Lucille's BBQ

Delicious, But A Bit Pricey With a LONG Wait

I can only afford to go to this restaurant every few months because BF likes to get the full on BBQ platter, which is upwards of $20. Usually, I get the Tri-Tip Sandwich, which is very good, but not spectacular. However, last time I went I got adventurous and had the Po-Boy with shrimp. Oh my lord, it was intensely delicious. What really made it were the two sauces that came on the sandwich. I didn’t

This is by far the best thing I’ve had at Lucille’s, but that’s because I’m not that into ribs. What really made it were the two sauces that came on the sandwich. To be honest, I didn’t even really eat the bread, although it was great. I just dipped the shrimp into the sauces and chowed down. Highly recommended.

Soooo Good

Although the menu isn’t the most interesting one I’ve ever come across, the Mexican staples they do serve are solid. The best thing I’ve had there is the seafood chimichanga (chimichanga de mariscos for you Spanish speakers). The crab and shrimp are moist and juicy and the tortilla is amazingly crispy. Plus, the chips and salsa are to die for.

Good But Expensive

The strip steak and fried rice dishes were the real stand outs, but the prices were so expensive that I probably would only go back for lunch. We spent about $50 on food alone for two people, plus tip.

Extras:
I came here for
a romantic date
My meal cost
between $25 and $50
I tipped
between 15% to 18%
