Best Falafels in Chicago!!

Falafels are my favorite and it’s hard to find them where they are not over cooked or greasy. Babylon makes the best falafels in Chicago, they are not greasy and fresh with spices. Their rice like always is great and never dry. Don’t like falafels, don’t fret they have a large menu and everything is jut as good. The swharma combo comes with beef, chicken and lamb and it’s amazing; you get to taste a little bit of everything. Babylon has the best hummus and their pitas may not be fluffy but they certainly are good! Prices are reasonable and it’s located in the hipster wicker park. Babylon has seating but very limited, best to call ahead and take out, delivery or dine in with a small group.

Finally a Real Irish Pub!!

Just love it! It’s never too crowded, great seating, nice clean bathrooms and amazing service. This is pretty authentic, the staff is super nice and friendly most of them have true Irish or British accents. The food is awesome, great specials, and need I say the food is awesome! Great place to watch a soccer, rugby, or cubs game. You can really enjoy your drinks and food.

Quick Fit for Falafel Cravings

I am picky with my falafels because nothing compares to Babylon’s in Wicker Park. However, the selection in Lakeview for falafels is pretty limited and Sinbad’s is not a bad choice. I do like their hummus and falafels however, not a fan of any of their meat dishes. I would stick strickly with their veggie meals. Great juices and smoothies. Always great service and very friendly, great location which makes it that much better.

Fast and Delicious Thai Food

Great Thai food, never had a bad dish here. However, I do feel that their noodle dishes are just a little over priced. There are other locations that give bigger portions for less money. Although, I still eat here, their delivery is fast and their food always arrives hot. Great service in and out of the restaurant. I love their pad see ew and their curries are great! Bubble teas are pretty average.

Amazing Teriyaki

So yeah this place might advertise to have great sushi, and I love their sushi but really their teriyaki dishes is where its at. They have the best teriyaki in the city, I love their chicken teriyaki (ask for white meat) and the seafood teriyaki. However, lately they’ve been skimping on the portions and it is kind of pricey. The best deal is to get a bento box combo and you get a teriyaki of your choice, salad, miso soup, cali roll, one tuna, one salmon and one shrimp roll. I suggest getting pick up or delivery since the dine in is pretty limited and the tables are really crammed into a small space. The service is not the best but the food is great!

Prepare your stomach and bathroom for Flash Taco!

My boyfriend loves this place but let me tell you, its not good at all. The quality of their meat is horrible, chicken is dark meat and the red meat is fatty. I got a beef burrito and I couldn’t make it past the second bite it was so bad. And after that my stomach did not feel right at all, prepare to be in the bathroom the rest of the night! It may taste great when your drunk, but what doesn’t taste good when your drunk? The only thing that was good were the cheese quesadillas. We ordered delivery and it took forever. The food was sloppy and obviously no care went into it. I’ve been to the actual restaurant it was dirty, poor service, and sweaty men leaning right over the food! So please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for Mexican food.

this is the only thing that was good here, it was greasy but it’s the safest thing to order. I still would not eat here again even if it was just a cheese quesadilla

Best Kept Secret in Chicago!!

Looking for a spot in Chicago that’s low key and only known by the locals? Well Pars Cove is where it’s at! It’s a small romantic Persian restaurant. The dishes are very reasonably priced and sometimes I forget I’m in Chicago the prices are so great! Any seafood dish is amazing, they cook everything just right and I’ve never had anything over cooked. The chilian sea bass is always a favorite. They have the best hummus in the city and the best pitas, everything is made right there. You can not go to Pars Cove and not try their hummus. Also, they are known for their walnut pomegranate sauce, which looks unappealing but is simply delightful! It is great on anything, chicken, lamb, or seafood. The service here is the best in the city, the staff is very welcoming and they really know the dishes. Monday-Friday between 4-6 all the entrees are half priced! They just added sangria to their menu and it’s out of this world, you must get a pitcher for your table. The atmosphere is very romantic, there is seating underneath skylights and in the back of the restaurant as well for more secluded private seating. Ladies at the end of their dining experience typically receive fresh roses brought in by the owner himself! This is by far my favorite restaurant, I go here for every occasion, birthdays, holidays, whatever I can use as an excuse to eat here. I promise any dish on the menu will be amazing. It’s hard to decide!

Must Experience Ron of Japan!!

My boyfriend took me here for our second date and to this date it remains one of our favorite places. It is expensive but well worth it. It is best to make a reservation, but you do not always have to call days in advance to do so. It is great for large parties and couples dining if you do not mind being seated at a table with others. The chef cooks on a large flat grill right in front of you. The chefs are all friendly and great cooks! I highly suggest getting any seafood entree, my personal favorite is the lobster tail. My boyfriend always gets the showgun which is steak and lobster, he does not even like lobster but LOVES it here. They top off their seafood with a egg sauce that is not the best for your cholesterol but takes amazing! And of course you can ask for the dish without it or add it onto another dish. They have a full stocked bar to keep you occupied during your wait and tall tables with televisions as well because this place is always packed and be sure to keep your eye out, a lot of local professional athletes love to eat here. It is a favorite among locals! The super Mai Tais are great and only one will do you justice. Every dish comes with a salad and a choice of ice cream or fresh pineapple as desert. I’ve never been able to finish my meal and it makes great left overs!
