Bring on the Burrito!
OK foodies-if you love burritos this is a good place-but no refried beans here. The burrito is quite heavy after preparation as there are many options included in the prrice of this big boy. You decide what you want as you go through the assembly line-pinto or black beans tortilla or bowl-then they have chicken, carnitas, steak, veggies or barbacoa as the filling for your big burrito.
There are four salsa types from mild to hot and spicy then you can add the sour cream and cheese and lettuce extra for guac. Their guac looks lke it came from an avocado and tastes yummy too.
You will stand in line esp at lunch time this place is popular. I tried it for the first time many years ago in Colorado.
They have beer and juices avail and yes they have Coke!
They have great ambient music here and minimalist decor.
Dishes I tried:
Carnitas Burrito
The burrito makeover has happened. Now don’t get me wrong-I love the refried beans we get at the nomal Mex places but as we are all trying to be somewhat health conscious here is the burrito redone. The carnitas are very tasty on their own-savory spices throughout the meat. IT is always tender and juicy. The rest is just what makes Chipotle stand out. I love the lime rice 9not healthy) and all the additives in the burrito. We usually share and sometimes get a few tacos also.

Thai at it's BEST-See you there!
Panvimarn is the latest miracle to be brought to our area!
BEST THAI I HAVE EVER HAD!
We went on my birthday then we went the next day also.
The taste of the food is so fresh you cannot go wrong!
I had the Beef salad-it is refreshing! IT has a spicy that is not overwhelming-it’s light and flavorful-the lime is the perfect accent to this dish.
The staff is very attentive and are about the restaurant. The decor is out of this world and you would not expect the place to be so decorative and fancy. It is so close to our home we are thrilled!
The platter of appetizers was super tasty too. I love the curry-we had red curry and it was layered with flavors in each bite. My son is 4years old and he loved the satay both the chicken and beef.
The Thai tea was wonderful and I do love my tea!
BBQ Rib and Chicken (lunch menu) so tasty) and my husband loved the prik king- he said it was the best he has ever had and the spice was perfect!
Spring rolls were very good. The lunch specials include a salad and rice and are affordable-there are only four choices I think though.
I told the chef Joseph (he came around to check on us) that the only thing wrong was there were no left overs!
The most expensive thing on the menu is duck at 11.95-the rest of the menu averages 9.00.
The lunch menu has five options from 11-3.00.
The decor will blow your mind-it is a beautiful place-yes bring a date the prices are not fanc but the place is!
This is the place people drive miles for and tell everyone they know-HONEST!
They are open 7 days and until 10:00!
Dishes I tried:
Panvimarn Delight
Four delish appetizers including beef satay, spring roll, shrimp blanket and fried won tons. OK, they mastered the spring roll-it’s not your average spring roll-and they were golden brown and so tasty.
The appetizer platter was generous there were three satay and many of the other appetizers-I was impressed.
Heavenly Combo Fried Rice
The name says enough-it was fried rice with shrimp, chicken and beef mixed with onion, egg, tomato, peas and carrots.
Thai BBQ Pork and Chicken
You get them both on the lunch menu and it includes salad and rice. A great deal more than one can eat (or not if you can’t stop eating). The garlic flavor is tasty and the meat was so tender. My 4 year old loved it too!

Juicy Oh YES burgers!
Tell me there’s anew burger place and I will have to try it-afterall, my Grandpa used to call me hamburger- and things have not changed. Where we will drive for a great burger (furthest is two hours). Well time to save gas and head to Cerritos Promenade and try 5 guys.
It’s a very simple place you walk in-you can have a burger, a dog, a drink and fries. That is the menu folks-super easy-no fluff-no trans fats oh they have peanuts though-help yourself. I had my MIL take me on Monday last week-I wet four times last week. (well I am pregnant and having a baby any day so I deserve it!).
I had not heard anything about this place-just saw and OPEN sign across the Target parking lot as my burger radar is very sensitive.
They have permission to OPEN 30 on the West Coast-they have 350 on the East! visits in a week they give yo uthe local info!
Dishes I tried:
Little Cheeseburger
Don’t let “little” fool you. Yes, it goes down qickly and you don’t mess around with it. You can choose any toppings listed from mayo to A-1 and just read it off the menu. (bacon is additional). There is no shredded lettuce which is a big score for me-I do not like shredded lettuce! The burger was very juicy and just right. The bun is a white bun with sesame and all is just right with he world when you take a bite!
They have two types of fries- regular and cajun. I have tried them both and the fries are delish-they are quality here folks not only do they use real potatoes they use peanut oil and they are double fried (very impt). The cajun were OK I did like them OK but didn’t love them. They were a bit overwhelming as far as the BBQ taste goes (for me) hubby really liked them. To me it tastes like a packet of mix was poured on-they are not tasteful. The fries are good but eat the peanuts save the calories for something else because they are not my favorite fries.
So after dragging my MIL there and seeing her face after the first bite and hearing a true burger lovers experience you can get into your car and drive there. They open at 11 AM. Did I mention they have Cherry Coke too? Yes, they have Coke and not Pepsi-so" thumbs way up".as my 4 year old says!

Not up to it's USUAL STANDARDS
I have been here many times and I am sad to give it an average rating but that is how I felt about my food this time. I had the c-zur which is not zippy enough. THE squash soup would definitely receive the 5 stars though so order tthat one!
Drinks are pricey but they really get you bombed after just two ( I PROMISE-their version of a long island tea oh my!)
Decor is nice-good bar atmosphere-I was very disappointed. My hubby also pre-boked saying ti was my birthday and there was no mention. We have been here many times-I was not so happy to part with the cash I felt like it wasn’t earned NOT THIS TIME
The chicken wraps are an absolute must!
Dishes I tried:
Ulu Watu Udon Noodle Bowl
It’s changed since the last time- I have to say I wasn’t thrilled-I had wished I ordered something else. The noodles were yummy and savory but the meat was not tender enough and it was tasteless in my opinion having had it many times before-WHAT HAPPENED?
They noodle bowl has steak and short ribs which have been excellent in the past.

YUM
I LOVE Ice CREAM! I think Coldstone is a great treat when you need that extra something. I admit I am more a bite into it type of ice cream lover but making your own creation has something goig for it too.
The thing I don’t like about CS is the noise-the banging of the ice cream tools when you tip does get annoying!
You spend more than I would like to here-so it’s not an everyday jaunt of mine.
Dishes I tried:
Rocky Road
So mine is pricey because I combine choc ice cream, choc chips, marshmellow creme, baby marshmellows and nuts-YUM!

Gourmet Juicy Burgers
So, I have been known to drive 2 hours for a burger so I was up for the challenge when my girlfriend wanted to treat me for my birthday.
IT is a very clean, modern place-the stainless and natural wood look. You are promptly greeted and given a clipboard where you can "create"your dream burger 1/3,2/3 to a full one pounder!
The help is young and attractive. Our waiter looked like Matt McConaughey-This only added to the experience!
They have beer on tap (the good stuff) and various bottled beers and wines!
COKE is also served over Pepsi-(YEAH big plus!)
Dishes I tried:
Cheeseburger
So, I know my burger and expect certain things. IF you love the grilled flavor you would definitely give this a 5 stars. I did love the burger but was honestly overwhelmed by the char taste. I had a burger with Tillamook and various toppings. I Recommend the sweet potato and regular fries and OH, the deep fried dills in a panko bread crumb-YUMMY!

I went to the Long Beach location. I was happy they honored my request and instead of chicken strips made my son grilled chicken. I think a lot of people liked the movie and if you love fried foods (we all do to some extent) you should try.
Dishes I tried:
Fish and Chips
The Fish and chips were very good here. I think we all had the same thing. I would go here again for them. The movie was not one I talk about not my fave so maybe I missed the boat but the food was tasty. Nice after going to the aquarium-they validate parking and it helps.

Best Chips
I am a chip lover and they have the right everything-not greasy-very crunchy-you can tell they are fresh!
It’s not fancy, always crowded esp lunch!
The girls are friendly here and don’t forget to tip! IT really bothers me when people find a good hole in the wall and they don’t tip or only tip 1.00!
Dishes I tried:
Arturo's Special
The best quesadilla ever!
I eat mine with chicken. It is huge and comes with rice and beans!
We drive 30 minutes every week to get it-ouch gas!
June 11, 2008
YUM!
I have been here many many times. You either go through the Drive-thru or to the window and eat on bench style outdoor seating. Not fancy by any means but the food is so tasty!
You won’t be disappointed here. They give free drink refills! try the carne asada tacos, flautas, taquitos, bean and cheese burrito, OMG the nachos! And don’t forget the cinnamon chips for dessert!
Everyone is friendly and the English is pretty good.
No Bathrooms
Great place to eat before or after D-land!
Dishes I tried:
cane asada taco
The taco has zing and fresh taste and they pack the meat on-it is so tasty!
Nachos
These are the BEST Nachos I have ever had out. For some reason they put the beans on the bottom?
You can add meat to them too and feast!

Dishes I tried:
My Cousin Vinnie
You could share this with Vinnie and his sister! It is a huge sandwich and you get a side of spaghetti or fries or? It’s a chicken breast with BBQ and crispy onion straws and bacon! It’s great!
I usually split with my hubby and get a salad. I cannot eat here without having a salad with their tangy Italian dressing. This is a chain but I am always very happy with the food here!

01/09/2009Mmmm…this little cheeseburger sounds like it’s right up my alley and the cherry coke is the icing on the cake. :)
