Not your "Cheap Chain" Steakhouse

Hunters Steakhouse offers great food at a decent price. It costs more than your chain steakhouse, but the service and quality of the food are well worth it. I first went there for a work function- Going away for a co worker. THis place is semi- formal so please dress appropriately. I liked it so much that later on in the year I took my wife there for our Anniversary Dinner prior to going to a concert in Escondido Center for Perf Arts. THey have a nice selection of steak cuts, and wine. We found it unusual about the salad service. THey come with a multi-partitioned platter and let you choose your choice, and how much of what veggies you want. Definitely a winner in my book even though I am normally a meat and potatoes man. THey are real good at cooking the steak to your tastes.
I suggest setting up a reservation, as well arrive a little early because you may have to wait for parking, or park down the street at the place starts getting busy near happy hour.

Great Family Restaurant!

Mary’s is by far the best family restaurant I’ve ever been to. I have been a regular for the past 4 Years and their service and quality/ quantity of food has not changed. It is Great. Prices are very reasonable. I went away for 7 months, and when I came back, where was the 1st place I ate- Mary’s. They remembered me too.
At one point in time, while finances were tight we went without for a few months. When we came back, they were like “where have you guys been, we missed you?”. I told them money has been a little tight, but were back. THe Manager gave me a gift certificate for a return trip for 2! How is that for a restaurant!!!
I am gone once again, but the family has been keeping the tradition of 1-2 times a month after Sunday Mass going in for Brunch/ Lunch they always ask where I’m at, when I’m coming home.
For you Summer Tourists. Most likely you will have to wait a little while for a booth, we regulars have to wait too, but it is well worth it.
Do not waste your time, money, or patience on Denny’s, or Carrow’s. I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they consistently fall short.

Every omlet they have there is Great. THey are chock full of ingredients and are definitely filling. THe hashbrowns or country potatoes are good as well. I switch up because I like them both too much to stick to just one,

1 Cinnamon roll will feed a family as an appetizer. Cheap too!!!!
