As close to 2AM college Chinese delivery as you're gonna get
So, I’m pretty particular about my Chinese food. I’ve been spoiled after living in Asia for 14 years and having some excellent Americanized versions of the real thing while living on the east coast. Since moving to Seattle, I’ve been pretty dissapointed with the local Chinese food (since when does Lo Mein = Chow Mein?). Chen’s Village is pretty decent considering they deliver (amen!). I highly recommend their Beef w/ Brocolli and their Beef with Black Bean Sauce. Some of their items are hit or miss so be forewarned, but overall you can’t really go too wrong if you hit them up for some easy grubbing.
Dishes I tried:
Beef with Black Bean Sauce
Yum yum yum! Except for the water chestnuts (which I don’t like at all) this was delicious! It’s so easy to mess this dish up, but they hit the nail on the head. Delicious chunks of onion and green pepper with a nice thick sauce and not too many black beans (so you don’t get that bitter taste).
