This is a full service restaurant that offers authentic Cuban cuisine. It is a cozy and warm little restaurant with beautiful tropical murals that makes you feel as if you were somewhere in the caribean. We started our dining experience with appetizers (mariquitas “fried plantains” with a garlic and oil sauce (mojo) and ham croquettes (croquetas de jamon), and then I had the best roast pork I’ve had in many years with white rice, black beans and maduros (sweet plantains), my husband had the Cuban sandwich and my daughter had the fried snapper (pargo frito). For dessert we shared a delicious flan (egg custard) a tres leches (sponge cake bake with three different kinds if milk) and a rice pudding sprinkled with cinnamon. And to end a great Cuban meal we had the Cuban expresso. As a cuban-american growing up in South Florida this place, the food and the aromas brought great memories back to me. We had a great time, the service was excellent, affordable, and best if all, the food was delicious and authentic. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great Cuban dining experience.
