One of my favorite salad bar in the city. They have good cooked dishes, hot dishes & fresh veggies. Price’s not too bad if you can stop yourself from filling up your lunch box! (my avg is about $9 to $10). hey I cant help it, I love ordering more than I can eat! :D. my favorites: Chef special chicken, braised tofu, cold soba noodles, squash, & vermicelli . See why i end up spending that much on lunch???

The Monte Cristo!!! Probably one of my favorite brunch places in SF. Wait is long & parking is a scarcity, but once a plate of breakfast is in front of you, you quickly forget the 1 hour long wait you just did. yummy place!

Not sure why this place is soo packed all the time. Probably its b/c this is America and everyone loves the size of the rolls and how much you get. But dont come here if you’re expecting quality food. After waiting 1/2 hour (if you’re lucky) to 1 hour, eating a so-so quality food makes the cheap price not worth it at all. Stay away from the nigiri pieces (fish quality is a bit suspect) I’d stick w/ the rolls.

Fish is fresh & selection is great. Although its always packed and seats are hard to come by, its worth it!! Roger (the sushi chef) is so creative w/ his rolls and will only serve you fresh sushi.

Finally a Japanese curry place that’s better than hurry curry or curry house in LA! Went here on a Friday night and loved the find! Although we sat for a good 30 minutes staring at other tables’ food, salivating and almost finishing our $6 bottle of sake, when the food finally came, it was pretty damn good! Thanks to Justin for the recommendation! I can tell that this place is a local favorite. Order from the board and you wont be disappointed. Stuff on the board ranges from beef tataki, fried oysters, curry katsu, gyoza, ika karaage, and other yummy goodness. I’d come here for the appetizer. The BF loves the katsu curry. Just be prepared to wait. There’s only one chef and one waiter. I have to go back and try everything else on the board. Sushi items and rolls are decent, but not mind blowing. Stick w/ the homey comfort food :)
