I am a big fan of Persian cuisine, I’ve travelled the world and had Koobideh almost in every city that i’ve been (Freak). this place has the best Koobideh i’ve ever had, tender, juicy and very flavorful. Their rice is also very fluffy and delicious, order it with Zereshk. It is a bit pricy though, but portions are huge and usally enough for next days lunch :)

Excellent quality Afghan cuisine. one of only two in the Seattle area. The restaurantis small with some afghani decoration. Order the Borani for appetizer, Ashak or selection of kebabs for main dish with Pulao rice. I haven’t been here in quite some time but the quality of the food has been consistent throughout the years. very friendly staff.

One of the many excellent Thai restaurants in the Seattle area, this one though also has nice Decor. I had the Tom kah gai soup, and panang curry with chicken, both were outstanding.

The perfect place to enjoy lunch on a sunny day is at Ray’s cafe. Mussels and smoked salmon skewers for appetizers were flawless. Mains were also good. Service is friendly. The place is very popular and on weekends there might be a wait to get an outside table if the weather is nice. You can’t go wrong here.

The memories of one night in Canlis is now engraved in my head for the rest of my life. Canils is rated among Seattle’s finest restaurants. Top class and they make you feel like it. The location is beautiful, right on a cliff overlooking Lake Union. Pine trees are visible through the large glass windows, although somewhat view-blocking they do give it that extra northwest feel. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, somewhat like a cabin, but modern, with high ceilings but cosy at the same time, i would say contemporary pacific northwest style.
The service is very professional and attentive. No complaints here. The wine list is endless, the pinot noir recommendation was superb.
The food however was nothing exciting. You could tell that they used the finest ingredients, but they did however fall short in flavor. This however does not at all effect my view of the place as the overall experience was perfect. you definately leave satisied.
Dinner costs about $100/person which in my opinion is not bad for what u get. It’s not the type of place u go to very often anyways, special occasions and splurges.
