IL Camino Restaurant

horrifying experience!
This long standing staple of the areas italian restaurants should be unstapled!
We had reservations on easter sunday. A reservation for 12 at 3pm.! We were never told that we were the last reservation (nor did anyone think on a high volume day like easter that a restaurant would close before dinnertime) so when the last person showed up it was 20 min after the reservation was scheduled.
The actual owner of the restaurant would not allow the 10 of us waiting in the very small foyer to sit down at our reserved table, and told us she planned on turning us all away if the last person in the party didn’t show up in a timely fashion. I’ve NEVER experienced such rude, borderline confrontive behavior from anyone thats supposed to be in customer s-e-r-v-i-c-e.
We finally sat, were told we had a limited menu (no dinner specials), grumbled through sloppy service in tight quarters, and were served average to slightly above average food and were rushed through.
Its an easter I will not soon forget!

Singapore Restaurant & Lounge

high quality chinese food to drool over
This chinese food restaurant is leasily accessible and has a large, well appointed dining room. Prices are reasonable, the food is fresh and not too heavily breaded. Courteous service with a smile, the majority of the time, and meals are turned out pretty quickly.
If you enjoy live entertainment, the average sized lounge is opened up on fridays and saturdays to triple the size and add a stage and dance floor. Be forewarned though. Don’t try this unless you enjoy being entertained by 40 somethings, in prom dresses or button downs and skin tight jeans (and when I say buttom d o w n s, I mean waaaay down, so that the snakes of man hair curling from any given shirt tries to reach out and choke ya as you pass)

pu pu platter
This is about the best there is. Shrimp is battered slightly heavily, but the chicken fingers are nice and meaty with not too much breading…the boneless spareribs are tasty and tender….and the teriyaki is to die for, juicy and flavorful. A perfect complement to all these naughty apps is the house fried rice. Chunks of chix breast meat, shrimp, and pork…a few veggies thrown in and yum!

Leominster House of Pizza

Good food, but could they get the add ons right???
This is a very busy local pizza shop. They are awesome, when they get it right! But I mean how hard is it to accomodate a customers order for diced tomatoes on my sub?? We order delivery from this place once weekly and they still haven’t managed to grasp the concept on how to dice a blasted tomato! Otherwise, portions are generous, the pizza is traditional greek….and very GOOD. They’ll even undercook it for you if you specify (that they DO understand)
All in all, a worthy place to try a rockin’ steak and cheese, or a greek style pizza. Long standing, consistent quality overall. Although the customer service skills could be improved upon…...

pizza
Traditional style greek pizza, not too greasy….and the crust isl light and crispy around the edges. Yum! They have a wide variety of specialty pizzas as welll. The green pepper pizza is definately one of my favorites. It’s sliced thin and adds just the right amount of sweetness to the whole experience. Sauce is flavorful, slightly sweet.

I'm a fan!
