Rude and Uncooperative
My future daughter in law had ordered her wedding cake through them. It was expensive, but we were OK with that. We paid the deposit, then when she went back to take in the ribbons, she was told the ribbons wouldn’t work. My D.I.L. also told TN that she wanted her florist to do the flowers for the top, and that wasn’t acceptable. The final blow was when my D.I.L. was told that her cake topper was “much too plain and much too small.” At that point, my D.I.L. cancelled — now we have ordered a cake at Safeway, for about $300 less, and they are VERY happy to work with our florist, and they LIKE her cake topper. But that’s not really the point. It’s HER cake, and it’s what SHE wants.
