I can’t comment on the beer, but the ice cream sandwiches are pretty delicious. Made with Il Laboratorio gelato, it’s big and almost too satisfying.

My first time at Korean BBQ and it certainly lived up to my expectations. Not as expensive as I feared, either: two meats and a hot pot split among three people was more than enough (total: $57).

My friend, a cupcake fanatic, claimed this place had the best in the city. I’m not sure about that, but they’re definitely good, at a great price ($1.50).

Very satisfying Southern Indian food. All vegetarian, with some less standard dishes (like the section of Gujarati curries), and a good value.

The banh mi at lunch are good, but twice as expensive as banh mi should be. However, their “Greenpoint” version (made with kielbasa) is definitely yummy.

Really good pizza. Not sure if it’s my city fave (don’t even know if I’ll ever have a single favorite, to be honest), but it holds its own for sure.

This is the closest restaurant to my apartment, being literally around the corner. I’ve made a point of not going for almost a year, due to the ridiculous prices (their burger is $3 more expensive than Peter Luger’s, I mean, come on), but I finally caved last night. It was good, but geez, $20 for a burger and a shake? Unfortunately, I’ll probably be back.

Cute concept place in the Chelsea Market, with predictably inflated prices. I have to go back and try their ice cream sandwich.

Exactly what you’d expect Chelsea fast food to be; tasty, costs a bit more than it should, but ultimately satisfying.

I don’t know, I guess I was expecting more from all the hype. Strange ambience, okay food; I’d go back if I were in the area, but not make a special trip. I think I like Rai Rai Ken better.
