Will not go back for a darn long time, if ever.

Arrived Saturday, 19 July, group of 6. Knew what we wanted to order on arrival. Waitress made us wait while seating others, THEN our waitress had us wait while taking drink orders from two other groups of two before serving our drinks and taking our order. While she stalled us, a reservation group of 16 arrived, and somehow, their order along with the other 3 couples’ orders got to the kitchen ahead of ours.
Waited a damned hour for the prime rib – special that night. While waiting, one waitress tried to blame the delay on the cooks screwing up the sequence of orders – - – that dog doesn’t hunt in Michigan. The manager came over, apologized for our extended wait, and tried to blame our wait on the other party having a ‘reservation’. When I told her flatly that is bullshit – they had seat reservations, but hadn’t ordered before arriving – we had arrived first…. then said she would ‘adjust’ the bill.

After waiting one hour and 5 minutes, food arrived. While setting plates down, the clumsy waitress spilled the au-jus – and didn’t bother to wipe it up. Two of the prime ribs were way underdone, and had to go back. WHEN she brought them out again, the cook had used the same plate, with dried juice around the entire edge – looked like a plate lifted out of dirty dishwater… The waitress didn’t have a problem serving them like that to us.
My cousin used to be a waitress and was so turned off she couldn’t eat her prime rib.
The manager wanted to blame the cooks for the dirty plates too, as well as blame the cook on making us wait.

I think reducing the bill by $20 was a totally inadequate move – she should have reduced it by half for the inconvenience of making us wait over an hour for the special of the day – - – by the staff in delaying our order until 22 others had ordered – when we arrived in the room first. Add to that: lying by staff – including the floor manager – about blaming the cook for our waitress getting our order to the kitchen late – after the others’ had ordered.

As I told her, it will be a long time – if ever – before i return for another dose of stupidity – by management as well as by the cook and waitress.

The prime rib tasted fine to me – after it was cooked longer – - – but when I ordered MEDIUM WELL and My cousin ordered medium – and both were bleeding on the plate – someone has their head up their butt in the kitchen.

I gave the waitress a $0.02 tip and wrote on the bill, Get your act together, there is no way an order for 6 people can take longer to get to the kitchen than an order for 16.

I don’t feel like dealing with stupid people repeatedly and there are several in that staff – starting with the female manager.

prime rib

UNDERDONE AND SERVED ON A DIRTY PLATE. almost cooked enough when brought back – but served on a dirty plate that looked like it had come from dirty dishwater and was quite unappetizing. apparently – when cooking meat additional time to get it done to the customer’s desired level – the cook saves money by not using a clean plate to serve on.

when serving it the second time – the waitress spilled au-jus on the table and didn’t even notice.

prime rib

underdone and served on a dirty plate – when cooked to medium, it looked like the cook had slopped the au-jus all over the plate – on the edges and over – and not bothered to use a clean plate to re-serve the meat on.

prime rib

underdone but eaten anyway by my cousin. we had to wipe up the au-jus spilled by the ignorant waitress as she set the plate down.

prime rib

done right and eaten by a friend.

full rack of ribs

adequate and as expected. split on two plates as requested for two ladies who ate it and liked it.
