I love getting Chinese food at Golden Duck. Their steamed dumplings are my favorite dish, but they really prepare everything so well.
The staff is also super nice, and their combo deals with free soup and egg roll can’t be beat.
It’s a shame that the interior isn’t as inviting to sit-down guests as Chop Sticks further down Garth Rd., but for take-out or delivery it’s the best!

Lotus King is on the pricey side of Asian dining in the area, but it’s a really lovely place for a night out.
You can get a good deal on the sushi here if you come for lunch. Also of note: they give you complimentary tea with your meal, which I love.

I love going to Mickey’s whether for drinking or dining. Unfortunately happy hour is over before I get home from work, but the kitchen serves up food for most of the night.

I didn’t think it was possible to have bad Chinese food, but this place manages to be awful every time.
I tried it a few times after it first opened, but after every meal was consistently bad, I stopped trying. It’s been a few years since I suffered through their incompetence, but from what I remember they get orders wrong, the food takes an inordinately long time to prepare, and it often tastes like something I’d think twice before serving to my dog.

Most of the residents in Eastchester are of Italian heritage, and this restaurant really does justice to the locals.
Everything they prepare here is divine, and the atmosphere is top notch. This place is great for anything from lunch with co-workers to celebrating Nana’s 80th birthday to throwing your daughter a Sweet 16.
