Their food is not the best around, but still pretty good. (avocado egg rolls and pizzas!) I gave it four stars because I have a blast every time I go there. Great beer, reasonably priced food and drinks.
Couple complaints: first, the wait can get loooong. (but they do have call-ahead take-out service). Second, is that sometimes we HAVE to valet our vehicles due to small parking lot. And sometimes when the lot is full but there are no valet guys around.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! great little izakaya. I was impressed with all the dishes we ordered. The only two things I didn’t think that highly of were the fish ceviche and the yuzu cheesecake.
Some of my favorite items there are the braised beef guitam with mashed potatos, Buda Meshi, Seared salmon carpaccio, duck steak, daikon salad, and the black sesame ice cream.
It is, however, pricey. Seperate menus for lunch and dinner. Lunch specials are priced pretty reasonably, and the dinner menu has hundreds of items on there. Reservations are highly recommended because they’re so busy!!

Delicious gelato. I love coming here on a hot summer day or late at night because they usually open till 11. They have around 10-12 flavors in store, all very yum – from basic vanilla bean, capuccino chips, to amaretto almond, and a couple different sorbettos. They sometimes have a couple of seasonal flavors. They do sell cake/scones but those aren’t as special. great root beer floats too!

This is supposedly voted the best “date” restaurant in the area. I’m not sure about the source. But this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. It is located literally in a wine cellar, love the atmosphere. Great steamed mussels, delicious steak (better than steamers from across the street) and duck confit. They used to have this beef carpaccio that I must order, served on toasted slices of baguette with parmagean cheese, but I didn’t see it on the menu the last two times I was there.
The portion of the dishes are pretty big. If you can’t eat a lot, I recommend sharing one entree between two people and perhaps order an appetizer. It can get pretty expensive but this is one of those restaurant where the food is worth every penny.

YUM but on the pricey side. Mango Mojito was the best I’ve ever had – strong but very tasty. their flavor of the day agua frescas was really good too, had the melon flavor frescas…really refreshing. Guacamole was made right in front of you to your liking, served with steamy hot corn tortillas instead of greasy fried chips. Tried the filet mignon, seared scallops, and chile relleno. All were delicioso. Only downside was the restaurant was pretty dark and on the noisy side. But overall, i loved the food.

my guilty pleasure after shopping at santana row!! The cakes are beautiful and tasty…But the things I love the most there are the pastries! Creme Feuillette, Chocolate Brioche, napolean slices, and almond croissants (with custard inside!) are a few of my favorites there. I usually buy the pastries to-go and will heat it up very briefly later on in the toaster oven, it’s the best!! Oh, and their sandwiches are very good too.
There’s always a line on weekends, it moves fairly quickly but there is always that ONE customer who has questions about every single piece of cake. As far as beverages, I always thought their coffee is JUST OKAY. I don’t usually order tea there because I don’t think it’s worth 2 dollars for a cup of hot water and a tea bag.

1 star for good drinks and 1 star for fresh fish. But that’s it!
Over priced, very small portions, music is way too loud, and you won’t be able to see what you’re eating.
Their sushi rolls just don’t hold up to the standards. Everything falls apart. You can go to almost any japanese restaurant in the area and get better quality sushi rolls and pay half the price.
Their sashimi’s are pretty fresh, but still not worth it!
