a hidden gem in the san gabriel valley

wow. what a surprise. I was in the area on business and wanted something fast but not fast food. The menu is amazing…what a variety! From vegetarian to fresh fish to sandwiches. With a little help from the cashier, i finally decided on a panini and it was perfect! The cafe is very fun and totally not what you’d expect…totally cute!!! I hope i have to go back to the area soon because I keep thinking about that panini!!!

Dishes I tried:

Unassuming but amazing

I have been going to the cozy Dizz’s As Is for about 15 years and it is never disappointing. They serve only the freshest gourmet food available. I can not tell you what my favorite dish is because the specials change all the time and I can honestly say I have never had anything I did not like. Their wine list is great, bar drinks are always spot on and the desserts are a perfect way to end a meal. Do try to get in…the place is small but they try to accommodate!!!

Dishes I tried:

Prawns with pasta

When you order this (if it hasn’t sold out by the time you get there), do not expect a few small shrimp on a little pile of pasta!!! The prawns look like lobster tail and the pasta is so worth the carb overload!! The plate is huge but you can’t stop eating!! So delicious!!!
