Sweet Service

I have been to this store numerous times and each time I am nicely greeted by the staff. They take the time to explain the differences between various treats and to make recommendations.

They have a wide array of sugarless treats, but I find the dark chocolate hearts, roses, and turtles to be the most delicious. They also have frozen yoghurt.

Excellent food and service every time

I have been to Enrique’s about 15 times with friends. Every time the food and the service has been excellent. That’s why we go back!

Enrique’s has an extensive menu of Mexican dishes, so there is something for everyone. Prices are reasonable – expecially considering the quality of the food and the service. Combination platters run from about $ 7.00 to $ 14.00.

Enrique’s does not take reservations, but I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seated. That was on a Saturday evening at 5 pm.

I have tried many different dishes and each one was excellent. The food is Mexican-American as in most Mexican restaurants here in the US, but it has more of an authentic Mexican component than most.

Highly recommended.

Friendly Service - Great Prices

I find myself going back to Wow Bento & Roll frequently because the food is of consistent quality and the prices are excellent. I have never been disappointed and I have been there many times. It is not top of the line sushi, but is a good value for the price.

I love Sushi, but it can be expensive. If you like to eat Sushi frequently and want a convenient, inexpensive place to stop, you have found it. For example, you can get two cut rolls like a California Roll and a Spicy Tuna Roll and a drink for about $ 8.50.

Wow Bento has a wide variety of Sushi, along with combo boxes and side orders. Combo boxes run from about $ 6.00 to $ 10.00 and contain various combinations such as teriyaki chicken, vegetables, and salad; or Shrimp tempura roll, teriyaki chicken, and sweet mashed potatoes. You get the idea.

Wow Bento is not fancy. It is in a storefront in a shopping plaza. There are 8 tables in the which occasionally fill up during the busiest times. They do have takeout. I have never waited more than 10 minutes.

A mixed experience

I went here for a romantic dinner and to try the cusine. We went on a Thursday evening, when roast pork was the main course. We called for reservations in the morning, and got the last two spots available.

When we arrived we were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant was busy and somewhat noisy. The decor was modern and spartan – not bad but not the place for a quiet romantic dinner. The service was quick and attentive. Each diner gets the same 4 course dinner, so we heard the exact same spiel from the waiters as they went from table to table to take orders or to deliver each course.

We were delighted with the first course – albondigas. It was fresh and tasty. When the main course arrived we had high hopes but were sorely disappointed with the pork. It was a thick pork chop, undercooked, and extremely chewy. We looked at each other for minutes and minutes on end as we chewed and chewed and chewed our first few bites. We noticed disappointed looks on the faces of other guests. We didn’t eat much of the pork, but the accompanying vegetables were excellent. The third and fourth courses (cheese and then ice cream) were ordinary.

I would not go back to this restaurant and would not recommend it. The total bill was $ 125. for two people.

Very good

We went here on a Friday evening on a holiday weekend, expecting that it would be crowded. We were pleased to find that it was only about half full and we were seated at a window table immediately upon our arrival. Throughout the evening the service was friendly and gracious.

We enjoyed both the food and the wine at this restaurant. The Hahn Chardonnay featured on the wine menu was excellent – and a perfect companion to the fish.

I would recommend this restaurant if you want to spend an hour or two in a nice setting with good seafood and excellent service. You should expect to pay $ 30 to 40 or more for dinner and beverage. Wines varied from $ 7 to 12 per glass, $ 38 to $ 250 per bottle.

A Surprise Inside

The first time we went to Sumo Sushi I did not know what to expect. We had passed by in the daytime and noticed it is in an area with industrial buildings. At night, all of the other buildings were dark – only Sumo Sushi was lit. We parked in the dark lot at Midas Muffler Shop and wondered if there was anyone inside Sumo Sushi.

Inside we were pleasantly surprised to find other diners and a busy Sushi bar. One of our party looked for and found the “A” rating displayed near the entrance. The restaurant was lit by black lights which took just a moment to adjust to. The menu appears stylish in the black lighting – the white writing leaping out at you.

We found the food to be good and the pricing very reasonable. California Rolls were $ 3.95 and the special rolls were in the 5 to 9 dollar range. Dinners were $ 12.95 to $ 15.95, which included a cut roll, salad, soup, rice, and a choice of teriyaki or tempura. Three of us ate for under $ 35.00.

The service was good but not exceptional.

The tempura was light and tasty. The spicy tuna roll was fresh. The dish came with miso soup, salad, and rice. All were as expected: good, fresh, but not exceptional.

Consistently Good

I have been to this restaurant many times and continue to go back because the food is consistently good, the pricing is reasonable, ordering is easy, and the food is ready in a short time.

La Fogata has a wide selection of Mexican food. You can go there many times and still find something new to try. They also have a few American dishes like hamburgers and fries for those people who don’t enjoy Mexican food.

There is no table service at la Fogata. Similar to a fast-food restaurant you place your order at the cash register and pay in advance. When your food is ready your number is called. However the seating is more restaurant-like with traditional booths and tables. Mariachi music plays in the background. There is a salsa bar.

Pricing for most combination plates is around 7 or 8 dollars.
