The service was incredibly slow the night I was there, and the dining room had a feeling very much like being in a lower-class golf clubhouse, but the food was some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had.

Very overpriced, but I had a lot of fun with my friends and the service was prompt. Their guacamole (“live!”) was very natural and tasty, and their chicken empanadas were very Americanized and delicious.

The food is totally subpar, even for a “health-conscious fast food” kiosk, but the smoothies and fruit chillers are well-executed. The Chocolate-Peanut Butter Smoothie (dairy) and the Strawberry-Watermelon Fruit Chiller (non-dairy, low-sugar) are both excellent.

This is probably my favorite Mexican food, but it’s more for sentimental reasons than cuisine. Their nachos with everything are great, though, and watching someone eat a Football-Sized Burrito is ALWAYS amusing.

It may be cliche and a franchise restaurant, which I swore I’d review to a bare minimum, but Friday’s is my favorite of this genre of restaurant. Their Jack Daniels Sesame Chicken Strips and Garlic Breadsticks are a tradition for me.

The service is slow and seating can take a while, but it is worth it for the Feta Omelet or the Cobb Salad. While most restaurants skimp on the feta cheese, blue cheese, or avocado, Elly’s knows why you ordered the dish and gives you plenty of the good stuff!

Braum’s in Oklahoma is good, but Oberweiss dairy is more Wisconsin-style dairy production than Braum’s, which results in a more buttery milk and a higher-fat ice cream. Their hiring practices may be suspect, but their product sure isn’t!

I’m sure everyone who reviews Hackney’s will rave about the fried onions, but I’ll start it off. :o)

Good gyros and great tzatziki, but sometimes the meat is very stringy. They have the best fried mushrooms I’ve ever had, though.

This place is not Culver’s, but thankfully it doesn’t pretend to be. The custard is creamy, but only comes in two flavors as of when I last went, and the drive-in setting is really fun but not ideal for eating melty custard on a hot day.
