Roy's

Misoyaki butterfish lobster dumplings MMMMM

Roy’s is probably my favorite restaurant of all time. The misoyaki butterfish is melt in your mouth good, and the chocolate souffle is the best souffle I’ve had compared to Dolce’s or Morton’s steakhouse. Make sure to order some appetizers too, I recommend the lobster dumplings and ahi poketini. If you want a place that is upscale yet casual that provides excellent service and food, Roy’s is the place to go.

What I ate:
  • *****

The misoyaki butterfish comes with rice and a few vegetables, but it’s well worth the price. It can pretty much be described as heaven in your mouth.

  • *****

Steamy hot flufffy chocolate lava mountain of love, comes with a side of vanilla ice cream with some chocolate under the ice cream.

  • *****

5 potstickers stuffed with generous lobster pieces, so it’s worth the price.

  • *****

This appetizer comes in a glass cup and it’s ahi with tiny fish eggs, some avocado slices and cucumbers. It’s absolutely delicious.

  • ***

Meh…this ones not as spectacular as the other appetizers. You can taste the foie gras, but it loses it’s appeal when it doesn’t have it’s fatty texture, but instead blended into the shoei mai dumpling.

Extras:
I came here for
a romantic date
My meal cost
between $25 and $50
I tipped
between 15% to 18%
