Tuna’s Seafood is a beautiful restaurant in an unlikely location. I’d eaten at the prior location
on Biscayne Blvd but rediscovered them at 178th and West Dixie replacing waterfront dining
with lush gardens, spacious dining rooms and an outdoor bar offering live music.

It was raining like crazy so I ate indoors and boy was that fun. Lots of indoor bar space and I enjoy a good dry red wine, sometimes hard to find by the glass. It was very very nice andvery dry, just the way I like it.

Bil, the principal owner, recommended his new soup chowder. Very tasty, a nice bite and aftertaste. The jumbo shrimp appetizer were really huge and delicious. My main was Grouper Brittany,a delicious creative fish melange of jumbo lump crab, shrimp, mushrooms and capers in a lemon butter wine sauce.

The kitchen is open to 2:00 AM and the bar until 4:00 AM. Try it you’ll like it

I’ve enjoyed many pleasant evenings with blackened swordfish, poached salmon, very nice salads looking over the Intracoastal waters as the boats passed by, indoors, outdoors on the terrace or sitting at the bar. Now live piano bar is happening.
