Fun - great location - decent food
The restaurant is very cute inside…formica tables, hodge podge chairs, bright colors, and dont’ forget the kitschy dishes and mugs.
On saturday it is INSANE and the service suffers a bit. Long waits for someitmes cold food. Still good food, but cold.
Pancakes are tasty and the menu diversity is lovely. Lots of fresh items available. Seasonal items.

Tex Mex in Brookside
Perfect for margarita fans and families alike.
What I like about this place it doesn’t even pretend to be “authenitc” Mexican it IS tex mex, and it’s great because of it.
They have a a nice orgazined system of seating folks – name taking with a nice loud microphone to annouce party names…not some random first come/first serve stuff.
You can hang in the bar while waiting. They turn tables fast, so you never have to wait long. Always drink & food specials going on – so make sure you look for those.
Buy one get one enchiladas are a favorite.
The salsa is great! If you are watching your chip intake, they are very proactive, so tell them “no more!” because they are on it with the refills.

Pretty Bar: Nice cocktails
It’s a fun place to go with the girls. Located in Martini Corners, it’s not exactly a destination but go if you’re in the area.
Not spendy, but not cheap. We sat in a booth overlooking the street. Others orderd appetizers.
Packed on a Friday night….
T
hey had some strange music playing with music videos on the wall. I’m all for music, but it kind of cheapend the otherwise nice atmosphere.

Fast and easy!
No frills here. Enjoy arabic television while you nosh on the buffet or get it “to go” for a hummus emergency.
-
Roasted Vegetables
Bsaic, right? Something about the buffet’s vegetables are really great. Zucchini, squash, yum
-
Jerusalem Meatloaf
Addictive…not sure why i love this so much. It hits the spot. ALso on the buffet
-
Falafel
Yes, it’s tasty. But, I don’t think they make it fresh. I think it is a frozen one then fried. But, still hits the spot.

Perfect for Out of Towners
Veggie food that is totally user friendly for those who haven’t had it.
Cute atmosphere..very eclectic. The staff is very nice.
My favorites-
the agave sweetned butter with the bread
tomato bisque
any of their desserts – grasshopper pie is great
tacos
anything they make with quinoa
The “grilled cheese” is a favorite …
-
Tacos
Soy based “meat” …very tasty
-
Grilled Cheese
Not a real grilled cheese sandwich!
Bed of Greens with a big hunk of bread with hummus over it. Three melted cheeses. Nice and garlicy…really great.
-
Tomato Soup
Bisque based – cream and blue cheese. Very potent and filling. Get thecup over the bowl if not an entree. It’s rich.
-
Falafel
NOT fried; so tasty..tumeric, I think makes it so flavorful. Also very filling. Real chickpeas in it..not just processed
