I went there for a appetizer plate, butter chicken, rice and nan. The food is pretty decent but the portion looks to be quite small. We went there for dinner so the buffet could be different. The food was alright. I didn’t like the samosa though. The butter chicken was good. We just really need more rice to finish the sauce. Other than that, decent meal….a bit expensive for the price. Definitely would like to try the buffet sometimes.

Very good place for fried rice/noodles. The BBQ section is one of the best in Ottawa IMO. I just wish this place could be a little cleaner.

Service was slow but the food was decent mostly. I still need to try more in order to be more impressed. I had a fried rice and it was alright. The presentation is very good. I would like to try this place again.

It’s a nice little place downtown. The pasta and pizza all looked really good and everything tastes above average. I wouldn’t say it’s the best though. The decoration and presentation are definitely nice and the price is not too expensive. I think I’ll go back again.

Baton Rouge is famous for the ribs (which I do agree that they are good) but what caught me by surprise is their prime rib. The prime rib came with a huge salad and garlic cheese bread in the beginning. The prime rib is 16 oz and came with the option of grilled or “au jus”. When grilled, you have to expect that it’ll be a little over cooked so you should order it on the rare side. The meat is aged perfectly and it is very tender. There isn’t a lot of leftover juice so it didn’t mix into my mashed potato on the side. That’s something that I look for in a nice steak meal.

What surpasses most other steakhouse is the sauce that came with the prime rib. I got the peppercorn sauce and it is definitely one of the best sauce that I’ve ever had. It’s peppery but not very spicy. The juice that comes along is very good too. I had such a hard decision in which sauce to use. Both of them are really good.

Dessert was good too. I had the brownie and it’s served fresh and warm with a big scope of ice-cream on top. The brownie is very soft and it goes so perfectly well with the ice-cream. Definitely one of the best dessert to end of an amazing meal.

It’s a very good place. The price was alright but the portion was a little small. It was still filling though. I ordered the linguine with smoked salmon, mussels in a vodka based sauce. The sauce was very nice and creamy, although there’s a little too much sauce. There are quite a few mussels and smoke salmon so it was really good. The pasta was cooked to the right tenderness and everything was good.

For dessert, I had the zuccotto. It’s a little small but it was also done well. It’s not too heavy and not too sweet. It was a nice after dinner dessert.

I didn’t know I was going there until tonight so I didn’t know what to expect. Now that I’ve looked up the website, maybe I should’ve tried the pizza there. Those seem to be really good. Maybe I’ll be able to give it a 5 star if I tried that. The pasta is alright but I got really thirsty after the meal. That’s the only thing…

Food is decent. The price is just a little high as the Table D’hote does not include an appetizer. The soup was decent. The meal was great. I really like how they put the vegetables and mashed potato in a small pastry. The dessert was great and the meal was enjoyable. The price is just a little too high for the portions that I’m getting…

This place has the potential to be 5 stars but they didn’t meetup to our expectation being the kind of restaurant that it is. The food was pretty good. I had the filet Mignon and the steak was cooked perfectly. That was definitely one of the best steak I’ve had in Ottawa. On top of that, I had mashed potatoes, but this was served under the steak so it soaked up all the juice and sauce…making the potato very soupy. That’s something I don’t enjoy when I have my steak and mashed potatoes.

The problem we really had was with the service. It was extremely slow and it got 3 out of 5 orders wrong and didn’t bring the sauce for the steak for another order. The wait was extremely long too. I know the steaks were thick but it took about an hour for it to come out. It was definitely the longest wait I’ve ever had.

Normally, I would give 4 stars to this but the price is just way too high for the quality/service that I got. If the management put their act together, it has the potential to be 5 stars with this quality of food and price. Meanwhile, it is definitely not a place I would go back for steak.

This is my first experience in Thai/Viet fusion food in Toronto. It was definitely a great experience. I went with my family and friends and there were 7 of us in total. We ordered a set dinner for 6 and added the oysters. It was definitely a very tasty meal with everything up to my expectation. Definitely a place to go if you want to try new things.

In our set dinner, there’s a squash seafood soup and then has an appetizer platter. It has spring rolls and chicken skewers along with othe small tasty things. From the set dinner, the dish that impressed me the most was the curry crab. The curry sauce was cooked to the right balance (not too spicy and not too blend). The sauce goes very well with rice or the wraps that they have. The service was really good and it was definitely a great experience there.

I love this restaurant. It is out in Almonte so it has a very country feel. The food is great. The service might be a little slower but it’s very friendly. Everything is cooked perfectly and the presentation is very nice. I love their fish’n chips there. It’s not greasy and the portions of the main dishes are decent. If you order soup or salad on its own, then it might seems a little small for the price being paid. The price in general is not very high. It’s definitely a nice family restaurant that’s worth coming to.
