Amazing breakfast and lunch
I probably sound like the owner, but they have a really cool menu there with lots of real foods. There is a single row of tables with a very small grocery section. Many of the toppings and sauces on the menu are sold in the grocery. Great food, great service, just get here early if you come on the weekend. They also have outdoor seating on nice days.

Pretty good food and great menu
Sat outside for the firs time last night. Was great to finally enjoy the spring weather here in Chicago. The server was very casual and really fun, the food was pretty good and the menu had lots of different types of bar food that you might expect at a bar. They also server 312 from Goose Island Brewery, a great local beer. Over all nice relaxing experience with food and friends.

Turkey Burger
It was served with lots of pickles, on a toasted bun, cooked just right. I ordered the fries, but a salad or sweet potato chips were also available. Served with a pickle.

Cool, indie coffee shop.
If you like personality with your coffee this is the place. As I sat there using their free wi-fi, the owner greeted just about everyone that walk in the door by name. The place is so friendly that there was even a meter maid in there joking it up with her. (if you can get a meter maid to be fun, it has to be fun). They specialize in grilled cheese sandwiches, although I just stuck to the breakfast foods. They also have ice cream as well. Lots of teas, shade grown fair trade coffee. Great place.

Good delivery but served in styrofoam
We had the meal delivered via GrubHub.com and it was pretty good. It was hot when we got it, and the flavor was just right. Two things were wrong with it and one was that we asked for no extra plastic forks and other little wasteful throw-ins that always accompany a meal, and they were in the meal and second, the dishes came in stryofoam. That is some of the worst stuff on the planet. We won’t be ordering from hear again until they change their packaging.

Best quaint restaurant in San Francisco
I don’t live in San Francisco anymore, but when I did, this was my favorite restaurant by far. The have a great atmosphere, delicious and fresh seafood with very seasonal menus. They don’t skimp on quality or service and their flair for original dishes is impressive for such a friendly place. I highly recommend.

Good Stuff
Had a great meal there. There server was pretty good and the food was great. It is amazing how many people go there. The summer time is rocking when you have the patio open and sunny. Great after a cubs game or during a birthday dinner.
-
chicken paella
Nice and smoky. Really enjoyed the flavor and the richness of the dish. If you order it though, do it right when you sit down, because it can take a long time to serve.
-
Bacon Wrapped Dates
These things are really good. I can’t imagine they are good for the waste line, but the flavor is worth running and extra 1/2 mile or so. No dipping sauce needed.
-
goat cheese baked in tomato sauce
This was good, but seemed like the cheese was not as flavoriable as in the past. They give you plenty of bread to enjoy every drop of it. The red sauce is a mix of flavors that complements the cheese. Great appetizer for all.
-
roast eggplant salad with goat cheese
this was my only less then great experience. this dish was a bit blan when normally the eggplant is excellent. I will order it again next time hoping that it was just a one time event.

Great Cornmeal Crust Pizza
What else is there to say. They have some of the best pizza in a restaurant that is hip and fun to be in. They server both Red and White pizza’s and slice the pizza pie style which I like the best. If you like good thin crust pizza, this a place that you have to try.
They also have their own beer that they brew there that is fantastic.
-
Large Pizza
You can get it your choice of sauce either white or red. I personally like the red the best. They serve it on a large pan, so it covers the table. Cool stuff.
