Pretty good food, but not much vibe

On the bustling street of Division with great little trendy restaurants Thai Village is good food with no flair. If you are going to enjoy the meal, it holds its own. It has a nice size inside and of course the sidewalk dining that Division Street offers. The service was ok, but would wouldn’t call it charming. Over sized, color plastic cups is better then many restaurants on the street the street to serve water, but a glass would have been nice. I would come back, but only after I tried some of the other restaurants down the street. The food is very inexpensive, but it is BYOB.

Dishes I tried:

Cream Cheese Wantons

Good. Could have used a bit more cream cheese, but they were good. Great sweet dipping sauce to flavor the dish. Worst of the three that we had, but still not bad.

We have curry with Chix, which had a great flavor. They sauce was a bit too runny for my tastes, but the flavor was very good.

Excellent dish. A smoke flavor with not too many veggies and the right amount of noodles. I would definitely over this again.

Amazing breakfast and lunch

I probably sound like the owner, but they have a really cool menu there with lots of real foods. There is a single row of tables with a very small grocery section. Many of the toppings and sauces on the menu are sold in the grocery. Great food, great service, just get here early if you come on the weekend. They also have outdoor seating on nice days.

Dishes I tried:

Oatmeal Pancakes

Cool, indie coffee shop.

If you like personality with your coffee this is the place. As I sat there using their free wi-fi, the owner greeted just about everyone that walk in the door by name. The place is so friendly that there was even a meter maid in there joking it up with her. (if you can get a meter maid to be fun, it has to be fun). They specialize in grilled cheese sandwiches, although I just stuck to the breakfast foods. They also have ice cream as well. Lots of teas, shade grown fair trade coffee. Great place.

Good delivery but served in styrofoam

We had the meal delivered via GrubHub.com and it was pretty good. It was hot when we got it, and the flavor was just right. Two things were wrong with it and one was that we asked for no extra plastic forks and other little wasteful throw-ins that always accompany a meal, and they were in the meal and second, the dishes came in stryofoam. That is some of the worst stuff on the planet. We won’t be ordering from hear again until they change their packaging.

Pretty good, but kind of bugging about the "Can't seat you..

until your full party is here." Besides being fanatical about this, the food is pretty good. They have the trendy breakfast foods like stuffed french toast and whole wheat pancakes.

Its a small place, with a great server staff. They are quick to bring you coffee when you want and are full of service.

If you like fancy breakfasts, this place is for you.

Pretty good and very filling dishes

We ordered take out and it was very good. The food was well prepared and not over done. The even do take out in aluminum which is better then Styrofoam. The dishes were very large and we only needed three for the four of us and two toddlers. The have traditional Lebanese food including soups salads, maza, sandwiches, vegiterian entrees, seafood, chicken and burgers. You have to try the Lebanese Coffee with Cardamom.

Dishes I tried:

Hummos

This was very good. It came severed in a large pan with thin pitas. Topped with virgin olive oil
