Great Find!
We stumbled onto this looking for another restaurant. Ever since I’ve taken everyone I know to eat here. Great food! The Caldo Reys, a mexican beef stew, has a delicate flavored broth with large vegetables and pieces of beef you’ll have to cut! Start with an order of ceviche either fish or shrimp. Best queso dip I’ve ever had! Menu selections here are wider than most as well. A little off the beaten track but a weekly tradition now that we know!
Dishes I tried:
Puerco con Chile (green or red)
Large chunks of marinated pork in a green or red chile sauce served with rice and beans and choice of flour or corn tortillas.
Impossibly tender and flavorful pork with a piquant tomotilla based chile sauce is amazing! Only thing here I wouldn’t recommend are the enchiladas. They are not bad but they don’t have the wow factor that some of the other dishes do.
