Quiznos Subs is a clean nice looking fast food submarine outlet. Their best featrure is that they grill their subs so the bun comes out lightly toasted. So far so good.

But I rate this establishment only 1 star. Why? To quote a famous commercial: “Where’s the Beef?”

Once you bite into their subs, there’s not much there. This has to be just about the absolute thinnest sub I have ever eaten.

It’s a terrible value. Just nothing there.

Take my advice, go elsewhere. Better bets: Subway, Kroger’s Deli, and better yet, any Publix Deli. All of these establishments actaully include meat in their subs. And at Publix opt for the Boar’s Head option: you’ll like it.

If you are on a low calorie, low meat, low value received for your money, low everything diet, then Quiznos is for you.

If you are a foodie, or just hungry, go elsewhere.

El Potro is a friendly value conscious Mexican eatery on Ga 20 at Buford Highway in the Quality Foods Shopping Center. We are regualrs there and with good reason. Good food, friendly service and excellent prices, especially the newly instituted Luncheon Specials. For as little as $3.50 you get one of their specials and a soft drink or iced tea. Two people can have lunch, drink and tax included for under $10.00. El Potro also offers full bar service with wine and beer as well as mixed drinks. If you are in a hurry, you are in and out in a flash. If you can linge awhile, no problemo. Just hang out and chill. Try it, you’ll like it.
