Silk Road - consistently good
My husband and I have been enjoying this restaurant for years (as it is in our town, and unfortunately for Warren Twp. residents, there aren’t too many restaurants in our town!). Food is always wonderful, and the service is great as well. Very friendly staff. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Tavern food.... get it?!
The Tavern is the casual side of The Stage House in Scotch Plains, and with that being said, your best option is to stick to the “pub” type of food from the menu. My husband and I have been eating at the Tavern for years, and go back (usually once a week) for the medium rare burgers (California burger with chipotle mayo and avocado is a favorite) and the Tavern dip (with mozzarella). We have yet to be disappointed when we stick to ordering the type of food that the Tavern specializes in. To the previous reviewer, use some common sense when dining out. Would you order foie gras from a Jersey diner? I think not…..
