Had a very bad experience there recently. They took our drink order reasonably quickly. Not too much after the dinner order. But then the trouble began. 20 minutes plus passed and I finally complained – we were through our drinks and out of bread and hadn’t even received our appetizers yet. Finally they came out, we were long finished with those – still no sign of the main course – when our waiter came over started clearing our plates and asked if anyone wanted dessert – to which I replied – we’d like our main dishes first! He got all confused – finally recovered and brought us new utensils etc. since he had cleared everything. Eventually the main dishes came. We finish with that and it turned out we had a coupon that seemed relevant to the meal we had. We presented it to our waiter who had to clear it with the owner – Stephen. They let us use it but not without making us feel bad about not presenting it upfront and making us feel like we were cheap. After the lecture – our waiter said “Otherwise – have a good night.” I left a large tip in spite of the poor service to make the point that we were not cheap. I wrote on the credit card slip about how disappointed we were in the horrible service. Then I wrote “Otherwise – have a good night.” We will NEVER go back there again. I suggest you don’t either. BTW – we had a reservation and that was the kind of service we got. What was particularly disappointing was their need to make us feel bad about the coupon after having received such abysmal service. What a shame.
