delicious, fresh and fun!
i love this place! decor is totally off the wall, without being unsettling, it’s lovely to sit outside in the summer, and the food is really fresh, good and interesting. a great place to bring friends to and grab a meal, especially if it’s gotten a bit late in the day to find anywhere else!! i love the yaffa salad with carrot dressing – mmmmmmmm – but share one, they’re huge! :)

top japanese fast food chain sees the world!
these guys do japanese ‘katsu’ curry, and they do it really well. it’s fast food, simply done, on the 5th, 15th and 25th of every month you get a free ‘topping’ (that could be a pork cutlet!) – also if you happen to be there on a day when hideki matsui hits a home run! big portions, good value and a fun little place. i’m looking forward to my next visit!

VALUE!!!
really, as long as they’re hot and fresh, dumplings are dumplings, right? and in this place there’s no time for them to get cold, as they’re flying outta the kitchen as fast as they get made! this has to be the best value dumpling house in the city. 5 dumplings. 1 dollar. you really can’t say fairer than that for a meal on the go! grab those dumplings, dip them in that soy sauce and be on your way. no worries :D

er… go figure :P

cool spot and good burgers!
i like this place! their selection of burgers/sandwiches is extensive and the portions big and tasty! it’s a fun place to take friends for ‘real american food’ and has good service, fun decor and great soda floats! :D
one quibble is that they impose a ‘sharing charge’ – and me and my husband love to share… psssh.

an all-time local favorite!
this is one of me and my husband’s favorite all-time restaurants! great selection of authentic mexican food, great prices and a nice atmosphere. if you order the guacomole they bring out a trolly with all the fresh ingredients and prepare it for you at your table, which is great fun, and also teaches you to make great guacamole at home ;) we often go there for a breakfast treat because we love the huevos rancheros (ranch eggs) – fried eggs, sitting on refried beans, sitting on a tortilla, topped with tomato salsa. we order one portion, with sausage on the side and it comes with coffee and orange juice – a great size for two to share! yum. dinner menu is varied and changes often – the burritos are especially good value!

fun idea but change the menu more often!
loved the idea of this little place – and always sure to grab a little something on the way past, but i’ve never been blown away by the food quality unfortunatly, everything seems a little lackluster. worse is that it’s always the same old stuff in the machines… would be nice to have a much bigger range, seasonal stuff etc, but maybe they’re really only going for the one hit wonder, i guess they’re not exactly the sort of place that’s trying to bring people in again and again for ‘meals’ so i guess it’s ok that their menu is so samey. interesting concept, and would like to see more of this type of place, but a little more variety would be welcomed :)

trailer park for fun + yum
i LOVE this place. i love that you can get trailer trash food in little plastic baskets, tater tots, mac+cheese, decent burgers… and wash it down with a big ole frozen margarita. simple short menu, i think they have a special deal on tuesdays, totally fun atmosphere and decor – for a theme place this just rules. yep yep yep.

nice idea, but didn't amaze me
i was soooo looking forward to trying this place.. and it kind of let me down. we tried a couple of different mac+cheeses and they were fine, just not anything special. pretty bland even with the interesting toppings, and they seemed a little overpriced. maybe they’re a little hung up on their gimmick. i’ll stick to my baked mac+cheese straight from my oven at home!
