How do I write a review?
- If you're on a restaurant page, click on the "Write a Review" button on the side or in the middle of the page. Or click on the "Write a Review" link on the top left of the page; that will take you to a search page so you can find the restaurant you want to review.

Can I use HTML in my reviews?
- No, but you can use Textile, which is even easier! Textile is a lightweight markup language that gets converted into HTML. Here's a quick guide on the syntax. Here are some examples
- To bold something, put asterisks around your text. e.g. *I'll become bold* => I'll become bold
- To underline something, put underscores around your text. e.g. _I'm underlined_ => I'm underlined

I made a typo. Can I edit my review?
- Yes you can! Just find your review and click on the "Edit this Review" link at the bottom of it. You'll be taken to the review form where you can change any aspect of the review, including adding and removing dish reviews. You can also delete the review by clicking the "Delete this Review" at the bottom of the review.

- Click "Suggest Corrections" on the left side of the page. A new window will open and you can enter in the correct information. My personal phone number is accidentally listed as one of the restaurant's numbers. How do I fix that?
- Click "Suggest Corrections" on the left side of the page. A new window will open and you can enter in the correct information. If you don't know the correct phone number, but you're tired of getting calls, then type "personal phone number" into the "phone number" field. And then please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. Be aware that Menuism verifies each piece of information that is submitted, so it may take a few days for the change to go into effect. We apologize for the delay in the interim.

How do I add or edit the hours of a restaurant?
- Below the address, there's a grey box with the information, tags, and statistics. At the bottom of that grey box, there are links that say "Add Tags", "Suggest Corrections" and "Add/Edit hours." Click "Add/Edit hours." A new window will open, and you can delete the hours that are listed and/or add in the correct ones.

Why aren't there any restaurants listed in my city?
- Menuism strives to have all restaurants listed, but sometimes we miss some. If we're missing ones in your city, add them!

How do I add a new restaurant?
- First, do a search for the restaurant based on the name, city, and state in the right hand corner. (This just double checks that we don't already have it listed!) If it doesn't come up, then click on "Add Restaurant" on the left side.
- Once you click "Add Restaurant," there are two ways to add a restaurant. You can Google search for the restaurant name, city and state to automatically get the information OR you can manually enter the information.
- Note that if you use the Google search, any links to websites or menus will not be automatically added. In that case, you'll simply click "Suggest Corrections" on the left hand side and enter the website and menu link. We verify each of those suggested corrections, so it might take a few days to go into effect.

- Just go to the restaurant's page and click "add photos" on the right hand side.

There's a duplicate listing for a restaurant. How can I delete one of them?

How do I change my username?
- Just email us at info (at) menuism.com. Be sure to let us know your current user name, your email address that you used to register, and the new username that you would like to use. - Go to your user homepage and click on the "Change Pic" link to upload a photo. The photo will be automatically resized and cropped to be a square format.

- Click the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.

How do I delete my account?

I tried to sign up, but I am still not getting the verification email!
- We have discovered that some email programs either direct us straight to spam OR don't deliver our messages at all. Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, send us a note at info (at) menuism.com. We will double check the account and verify your account for you. Because your email provider won't deliver our messages to you, you will think you haven't heard back from us, but just try logging in again in a few days. To prevent messages from getting filtered, add info (at) menuism.com to your email address book.
