Fondue conjures up a variety of conceptions; some are true, many are not. Double dipping. Fire hazard. Outdated. Are you running for the hills? I hope not. Fondue, though gaining popularity, often goes overlooked as the perfect fare for entertaining. So many of us are short on time and use this as an excuse to pass on entertaining, but fondue can be assembled in little time and with affordable ingredients. Long days, warm nights and the sight of bare toes are all sure signs: summer has finally arrived! No matter how old we get, when the season gets into full swing, that summer-loving kid inside all of us comes out, bringing back memories of running barefoot in the grass, eating cherry tomatoes straight from the garden, drinking lemonade, and soaking up as much sun as possible. What better way to celebrate the season and spread childlike joy than by throwing a fabulous summer party?

Sometimes throwing a party for a group of friends or family can feel like more than we bargained for. What was supposed to be a simple gathering with a few laughs, good conversation and tantalizing food can quickly become a game of sifting through endless rules.
