Notes
Mmmmm... good, cheap, wholesome Japanese food. And you get a lot of food. There's always a line at this joint. I always get the katsu curry special.
Dishes
Katsu Curry plate

Notes
Jerk chicken and pork spare ribs are most delicious. Be sure to go during peak hours to get your food fresh. The small plate is actually pretty huge, but if you can pack it in, the large is more than enough. did i say spicy?
Dishes
BBQ pork spare ribs (fridays only)

Notes
Pretty tasty mexican food. They don't skimp on the meat either. Great prices. All my mexican friends tell me to come here, and I tell you to come here too. Es authentico!
Dishes
Beef Flautas

Notes
I come here almost every time I'm in Irvine. Everything's generally good, but when I come here, I almost always get the al pastor (marinated pork) burrito. It's the best I've had so far. Flavoriffic!
Dishes
Al Pastor Burrito

Notes
Japanese Izakaya style cuisine. This a is place to fancy your palate, not to stuff your stomach (unless you wanna dish out the cash). They serve "tapas" style dishes that are focused on quality. There's quite a bit to try here, so it'll take several visits to explore the menu.
Dishes
Beef Yakiniku, Pumpkin spread, Tofu salad, Musha fried chicken.

Notes
Organic ingredients, free range chicken, grass fed beef, and good prices. You actually feel good after eating here. The food tastes clean. I usually get their bowls, but they serve other items including sushi, katsu. yakitori, etc. $4 buys you a chicken or sukiyaki beef bowl. It's a nice quick stop for a healthy meal.
