The chefs use locally grown produce. Some organic. I don't think I've eaten anything that I didn't like. Their breakfast burritos are among my favorite, great bloody marys, out of this world Banana Cream Pie. Try the specials..beautifully balanced food that's not too heavy. Proportioned very well.

Notes
Their lunch special is a quarter or half fried chicken with some sides for like $5.95. Their fried green tomatoes are great, collard greens, black beans, red beans & rice, grits...yummy.

Notes
Nuevo latino food. ..relaxing atmosphere. Their appetizers are yummy & they have live music. A great selection of specialty drinks - blood orange margarita & mojitos. Great for groups
Dishes
pechuga rellena - oven roasted, red poblano and farmers cheese stuffed bone-in chicken breast, fresh corn tamale, warm chayote salad, guajillo chili jus.

Notes
The best bubble tea ever. Perfectly chewy, and not mushy. Tons of combinations to choose from whether it's milk tea or blended fruit. A huge menu to choose from. I like their red curry chicken, and basil beef.
Dishes
Mango coconut green tapioca drink.

Notes
Romantic eatery in soho. You feel like you're in France eating at a bistro. You can take things to go from their cafe next door as well. A bit of a wait without reservations.
Dishes
Amazing onion/blue cheese tarts

Notes
If you want a place to just unwind at the end of the day, I recommend the Nomi Lounge. On weekends it's pretty hectic, but during the weekdays, it's a serene place to have a drink with your friends. Excellent service.

Notes
This restaurant is somewhere I always crave. I don't know what it is..it's very crowded and easier to order a sandwich and eat on one of the benches outside. But their cuban sandwiches are delicious, and their roasted corn with lime & cheese are totally addicting.

Notes
I like the one in Williamsburg. Just a nice place to get satisfaction for your sweet tooth. Really creamy icecream/yogurt. I could eat this every day (but my trainer would kill me)

Notes
They have a million and one beers, I swear. It's a little overwhelming looking at the beer menu, but the staff is very helpful. I personally love the frites with the garlic aeoli and the ham sandwich, with oozing cheese & cole slaw. It can be salty, but delicious none-the-less

Notes
You can get a feast of a meal for 2 with $22. My friend and I ordered spring rolls, pho, rice vermicelli with spring rolls/meatballs/grilled meat, green bean with coconut for dessert. Fast service & the soup stock for the pho has a great balance (nice touch of anise).
