15 Point Road, A special treat in Portsmouth Rhode Island along the Sakonnet River. Busy, but not crowded, with an enchanting moonlit river view. A traditional menu pleases most everyone and house specialties are an ever-changing eclectic delight of innovative and contemporary dishes. When one walks up to the doorway, the bed of fresh growing herbs just off the deck will give you hints of the treats that await. Once inside you will be entranced by the view of the Sakonnet River which leads out to the ocean beyond through the panorama of windows. Across the river you will occasionally notice the local fishing boats as they make their way to the Tiverton fish market. If you"re lucky enough, you might even catch one of the local lobstermen heading out to tend his lobster traps in Mount Hope Bay!

The Grill is Forty 1° North’s dockside restaurant that is designed to deliver a fresh, upscale dining and entertainment experience while providing a unique and serene respite from Newport's bustling waterfront scene. A step off the street, yet a world apart. The menu features grilled meats and seafood, raw bar, as well as locally grown in-season vegetables. There is an open-air dining area, individual tables and bar seating surrounding the covered bar pavilion. Inviting dockside lounge seating creates a perfect setting to relax with cocktails or conversation. The Grill at Forty 1° North is open to the public.

Scales & Shells is a seafood restaurant in every sense of the word. Our goal from "day one" has been to serve the freshest, highest quality seafood product to our guests. In order to achieve this, we have our own fish truck on the road daily. Our Fish buyer makes the rounds to locate what fish is available and whether or not it meets our standards. Many times we not only know when the fish was caught, but where and by whom. Our varied suppliers know what quality we expect and go out of their way to save the "top of the catch" for us. After making our purchases, we insure that the product is handled properly...iced, and cut to order.
