Amazing!
Main Street Ale House in Gresham recently closed and reopened as 4th Street Brewing Company in a new building one block east of the former establishment. I came to the Pre-Grand opening as a passer-by and was given the grand tour of the new place. One word to describe my experience was " Wow"! The building is beautiful, with a big open bar area that rivals the posher places of downtown Portland. The dining area has a friendly, inviting design and the staff was very helpful and appreciative. The upstairs area is incredible; huge seating areas for large parties or receptions as well as a large meeting room— with all the high tech equipment for Power Point Meetings but still maintaining a relaxed feel. The food served that night was mostly samplers since they hadn’t officially opened but everything from the barbecued skewered chicken to the vegetable platters was top-notch. I didn’t get to try the beer that night but have had it before they moved, and was Very impressed. If they can make it through the present economic slowdown this place is sure to become the premier eatery in Gresham. Excellent job!

Barbequed Chicken Skewers
Perfect. They were free for the pre-grand opening but I would have paid $$-$$$ for the experience.
