Ariyoshi Japanese Restaurant
Not enough can be said about this little gem on Queens Blvd. in Sunnyside. When I worked in Long Island City, myself and a colleague of mine regularly made the 1-stop trek over there on the 7 Train.
The service is fantastic! The staff bends over backwards to satisfy. The quality of the sushi is superb – fresh and delicious. And the menu is actually quite lengthy and diverse in its selections and combos. The place is regularly packed, and it’s not hard to see why.
Fellow NYers – take the 7 to 40th Street/Queens Blvd. Walk over to N. side of the Blvd between 41st and 42nd. See sign, open door, walk in and sit down. You won’t regret it!
