Good food, good price, and quick
I recently had to visit Lexington Medical Center, right across the street. After a long day, feeling desperate for dinner, we went to the first restaurant we saw — Atlanta Bread Company, right across the street. I’m glad it was the first thing we saw, because I could have ended up with pretty much anything — but here, we got hearty sandwiches, on great wheat bread with mustard and mayo. They also have huge cookies, with a good texture (not too soft, not too crunchy) to finish off your meal when you need a hit of sweet to pick you up after a stressful day.
Sadly, I was surprised to find the interior to be a little shabby looking. There’s a few badly stained ceiling panels and things generally looked a little bit dingy. Nothing seriously disgusting or dirty that might put you off your meal, but not quite as shiny and tidy as I might expect.
Dishes Tried:
Roasted Turkey
Generous serving of meat on quality bread with well-chosen toppings. A great classic, done well.
