i drive by this place all the time and never noticed it. good thing my cousin took me here today 4 lunch… delicious, authentic carribean food here… authentic only cuz the woman from grenada said so. i dont have a clue
had the jerk pork & chicken combo… comes w/rice & beans, salad & fried plantains. meat was cooked to perfection & just spicy enough… all in all: tasty
not much seating at this place, had only 10 tables or so. thats why a lot of ppl got to go. if they had outside seating im sure a lot more ppl would go. cant say the ambiance is that nice, but as long as the food is good, im game..
berrybean
yummmm....
I’ve never had jamaican/carribean food before (despite having been to the carribean- go figure. we ate what was on the cruise). but, if this is what is to be expected, sign me up to go back!
i went with a second person. we shared the oxtail special meal and the jerk chicken (not set meal). the oxtail meat just fell of the bone, the way it ought to. delicious. the meal comes with fried plantains, rice, and a bit of green salad. the jerk chicken was slightly spicy, very moist, and absolutely delicious. one thing though, half the chicken tasted very moist and flavorful, the other half was a bit more dry (but still very moist)- consistency problems? i don’t know. i will definitely go back to check on their “consistency”. you know, for posterity’s sake. haha. So for the 2 of us, it cost about $16. we were definitely full.
