Bamboo Garden Restaurant

I had the Chong Qing chicken and the Chengdu BBQ Lamb both of which were really spicy and good. I usually order Americanized chinese food since I’m a little shy to try different things but these two dishes were really good. I’ve been back several times and usually order the same thing but occasionally get pea vines as well.

ok first of all note the address is 106 pl not 106 ave lol. a little bit of history this place used to be a buffet place called chengdu. sadly to say the buffet food was actually better than bamboo garden:( ill give it 2.5 stars.

the inside is very well decorated and the wait staff was nice but somewhat non-existent. the hostess was pretty rude. the food was mediocre. to give you an idea, im a hardcore carnivore but the best dish actually contained no meat. a little disappointing considering all the ppl i heard rave reviews from.
