Fun place with great specials and unusual menu items!
This restaurant seems to always be hopping, and it’s a lot of fun! The dining room is large, with the bar in the center, and another bar outside on a patio. There is also a stage, although I have never been there when there was anyone performing.
One of the best things about Bar Louie is their lengthy menu with several unusual items on it. Try a Popcorntini appetizer — a large martini glass with two kinds of popcorn in it. Or the Fried Louie, which is a burger with a fried egg.
They have a fabulous happy hour special…usually half-price appetizers and drinks.

Fried Louie
This is a large, thick, juicy burger with a delicious fried egg on it! I like my burgers rare, and not every restaurant will even cook them that way, but Bar Louie does. Really delicious!
Popcorntini
This appetizer is really unique. It is served in a very large martini glass, and it consists of 2 different kinds of flavored popcorn — cinnamon, and buffalo sauce. It is a huge portion, so make sure you plan to share it, or have a smaller entree!

$1 burgers on Tuesdays!
Bar Louie is always a fun place to go, and it isn’t unusual to find that it’s crowded in the evenings. But on Tuesday night’s it is especially packed because it is $1 burger night. These aren’t small burgers. These are their regular-sized (1/2 pound??) burgers for only a dollar each! It comes with the bun and lettuce. You can add things like cheese, onions, etc., for a small charge. Combine this with their Happy Hour specials and you have a really inexpensive meal.
