Berryhill Tamales & Tacos

My fiance and I decided to treat ourselves for the hard week we had. We went to Berryhill in Sugarland to relax and mainly because they had spinach enchiladas, since there wasn’t a Guadelahara around we decided to try this place. The lady at the front counter was nice and the environment was friendly, not too busy on a Thursday, but I was disappointed with the spinach enchiladas. They defiantly were not like Guadalajaras cheese and yummy, nope…these had some I guess white cheese sauce or some kind of sauce all over it and the texture of the tortillas were rough and rolled, not flat, they were like spinach/corn rolled in a tortilla with white sauce, best way to explain, the refried beans were too creamy and the rice was dry dry dry…..I understand all resturants have bad nights every once in a while so we plan to go back one weekend and try the fish tacos or tamales, I don’t eat beef or pork or chicken, so really just seafood and vegetable entrees I will try. I’m not trying to make this place look bad because they were very friendly, it’s just my enchiladas were horrible for real
