The Chain's the thing
It’s easy to fall in trap of chains. You figure if they are laid out alike and have pretty much same menu, they’re all the same. Bob Evans can be confusing – naturally different cooks at different locations – if you try the same dishes, you can spot the differences…I’ve compared the omelettes, compared the burgers – and some of the other dinners- sort of a challenge – actually, but if not careful can “overthink” the eating process and it’s easy to say “why bother” with a chain. Maybe it’s the staff – somehow feel less “connected” to this location. Can’t really put finger on it – the location at Seffner is near the RV park, this one is out on the highway. It’s ok – I’ve no major complaints about this location. But I’d almost drive the extra 20 miles to the Seffner location if I just “had to go to Bob E”- a little friendlier or something.— or go just couple blocks to IHOP.
Dishes Tried:
Three Cheese Omelet
It wasn’t as fluffy as I like, sort of flat but ok – had toast and potatoes with it and they were ok too.
The coffee was fine.
