Boll Weevil Cafe

Me and my 11 year old daughter came into Boll Weevil on Sunday afternoon between 5:30 and 6pm to get a slice of cake and cheesecake to take home after our Sunday dinner. As we stood there and pondered our selection, we finally decided on what we wanted. Another White female back behind us and was served before us and then she went to sit down. My daughter and I still stood there and waited to be served next. But then another white female came behind us and was promptly served while we stood there again.

At this point, I was becoming a little frustrated and my daughter asked me; Why aren’t they helping us? I don’t think I want any cake now. She was very disappointed. As each time we come in we are always helped quickly but, today we turned around and drove home.

I’ve eaten at the Boll Weevil on several occassions and have never been treated like this.

I called and asked to speak to the manager and they put me on hold 3-5 minutes. I hung up and promptly called back and still had to wait to speak to someone. The manager on duty apologized for our service but, didn’t offer us a discount or free slice of cake for being treated so rudely.

I wanted the owner/manager to know that you really have lost a patron that liked your establishment and the nice charm of the place and location. But be assured I will never spend any of money or time there in future.

If I don’t hear a response back before Monday, March 19th. I will stop in a talk with the owner/manager on duty or someone to make it known of our ill treatment. I don’t mind you treating me bad but, an 11 year old child had to witness this behavior also.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I haven’t been for dinner but the lunch sandwiches are delectable.
