Bruster's Ice Cream

First thing I’m not happy with about this place was that I carry a sweet rewards card THAT IS STAMPED by this establishment. I may not come to this place on a regular basis but I do come atleast once a month or every 2 months. I went up to get a treat and my last punch on my card and I was told that I would not be able to use my punch card anymore and that my old punches do not carry over to my new card. Basically, I had to start completely over. After looking over my new card, it’s completely bogus. The old card allowed you to get a free cup or cone INCLUDING a waffle cone, but the new card does not let you get a waffle cone. The lady that was helping me was a jerk. She kept giving me an attitude and acting like I was bugging her because I couldn’t decide on what I wanted. I even let the people I was holding up go ahead of me, and she just snarled at me and took the next customers. She was completely rude to me and to other customers. Customer service should be number 1. I decided to come back another time, maybe she was having a bad day, and I witnessed her yelling at her employees. It was disturbing how she treated her own employees. I asked one of the employees why the rewards cards were switched and she told me it was because her manager decided to make new cards for the customers. As soon as I heard this, I decided that I couldn’t continue to spend my money on a place like this. It’s a shame, because out of the locations around here, this was the most pleasant one to go to. But after seeing the way she yells at her employees and her lacking customer service skills, I don’t want her to get a single penny from me. I will be reporting her customer service skills to the corporate office and hopefully they will do something about it. I don’t understand how someone could yell at a high schooler. Seems like a bully to me.
