Burger King

I am a senior citizen, 72yrs old, a retired and disabled veteran in a large powered wheelchair with a School Trained/Certified German Shepherd Service Dog. I had already been about 4 miles today, going to various stores trying to find one item. It was lunch time and I had to have food in my stomach before I could take my noon pain medications. Due to the virus pandemic most restaurants & fast food places were only allowing Order Window service instead of going inside.
I waited in line with several cars in front of me to order, all I wanted was an order of onion rings & a drink. Finding no answer on the intercom I went to the order window. The girl never even allowed me to say what I wanted, she opened the window and stated that they would only serve me if I went inside, that I was not supposed to use the drive-up lane". I told her that was against the law, a court case had recently been won by the plaintiff, I believe against McDonalds, for refusing to serve a disabled person in a wheelchair that was using the drive up window. She stated again ’No you cannot be served here" then another person came into view, did not introduce herself, she also stated the same. I told both that I was not wanting to go inside and that refusing me service was against the law. Both stated that I would only be served inside. I told them I would go to a competitor if they were refusing service, the first girl shrugged her shoulders then they closed the window. I went to a competitor for something to eat.
