C I Shenanigan's Seafood & Chop House

Excellence that is not overpriced. After dining at Shenanigans several times I was so empressed I held my wedding reception in their upper room. Everything went perfect – hard to say for weddings! We started with the delish Brie and our entre was the crusted chicken. Everything was spectacular. The waterfront view was great and you can eat outside. The one thing I wanted was to have a sit down dinner with table linens and be served – no buffet. The staff was professional and had class. Although, the one thing that raised an eyebrow was when they didn’t seem to know how to cut and serve the cake (they figured it out fast enough for me not to care.)

There is absolutely nothing bad I could say I about this restaurant. From standing by a fireplace in the waiting area, to being sat right away to the amazing service… I can’t recall eating anywhere finer. Yes, it is an expensive restaurant but it WELL worth the money. We were fortunate to get a seat right in the window overlooking the bay even though it was a Saturday night! A busser cam immediately and poured our water and before he was even done, the server came to get our drink orders. He came back with my wine and to our surprise brought my friend’s two girls a plate of baby carrots and ranch! We didn’t order any appetizers so it was right on to our meals. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the dishes and helped me make my decision easier! The food came quickly and was so delicious, but we saved room for desert which was those little shot glass type deserts just in a more decadent shot glass! Perfect ending to a perfect meal!
