Very Satisfying
For a late afternoon or evening “out to dine”, this location is very pleasant. The subdued lighting, comfortable seating is always enjoyable. The faint cooking odors and pleasant reception by the greeters just feels real good. The menu provides what we’ve come to look forward to with Carrabba’s locations – it’s easy to fall into pattern of ordering “the usual” (whatever that might be) – spaghetti/meatsauce is always a favorite… I like Veal selections and only seem to find it here (and at the Palace). This last visit was no less than we’ve come to hope for – warm welcome at the door, quick seating, great service (not pushy, just pleasant), great food and a fair price for what we get.
Dishes Tried:
VEAL MARSALA or PICCATA
They never let me down, this is always a delight at this location – the veal pieces are tender and the accompanying sauce excellent. Worth the drive across town!
House, Italian or Caesar Salad
Their salads are always good, crisp, fresh tasting – I enjoy the dressing on the side to add sparingly.
MAMA MANDOLA'S SICILIAN CHICKEN SOUP
mama’s chicken soup is “to die for” – I always buy some to take home, it’s just as good later – wonderful flavor and “chubby chicken bites” – it’s impossible to adequately praise “Mama” on this one!
Spaghetti & Meatball
Spaghetti/Meatballs with extra sauce. Yum. If you want more sauce, they bring it on the side. Really great stuff.
TIRAMISU
Oh yes. Tiramisu. Excellent flavor, nice sized portion. another 4 star Yum!
Don’t see coffee listed in the drop down menu, so will add it here – their coffee is always great – never had a “bottom of pot cup” there yet!
