Half Price Pasta & Special Bloody Mary
The half price pasta is very good for the cost. You can build your own and at this Chancery they let you do a half and half on the meat (hubby does half chicken half Italian sausage)-something the Chancery in Tosa was reluctant to do (I guess why give the customer what they want???). We have never had a bad pasta dish on half price night at this location, for a chain restaurant, it isn’t bad. The bloody mary on the other hand, while presented nicely is a very boring bland tomato blend and not worth having. They make up for the half price dinner with the drink prices. If you go to the bar you can have half price wine….don’t know why you can’t have that at the table. Oh well, we return monthly for the pasta and do enjoy it as a meal that is cheaper to eat out rather than prepare at home. Additionally I always have a portion left for lunch the next day at work. This would be 4 star if not for the miserable bloody mary

Good but not great
This was an ok restaurant. The French Dip sandwich was decent. The atmosphere wasn’t anything special though. The menu isn’t anything special either. I’ve heard that they’ve changed up the menu several times and it used to be better.
There are several of these restaurants in town so there likely is one convenient no matter where you live.
It’s a great place to meet up with friends for a quick bite and drink. Not romantic in any sort of fashion so wouldn’t recommend it for that.
Give it a try for yourself and see what you think.

French Dip – it was good but nothing special. Then again, there’s nothing really special about a French Dip sandwich anyway.

Hard to go wrong at Chancery
The hardest thing about the Chancery is finding it if you’ve never been there before. Somewhat like an Applebees or Chili’s they rarely have a wait and generally have an interesting special of the day.
I have been there for happy hour/group get-togethers with appetizers/lunch and dinner and have yet to try something I didn’t like.
The service is good and attentive, the prices are reasonable and you always get more food than you can eat.
Its a good place for families with kids as well as a date night or girls night.
I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Chancery - good family type place
The Chancery is a typical restaurant with a variety of meal options. So it’s a great place for families or to meet up with friends. The atmosphere is nice – they have a bar and then the restaurant area as well. It’s a good generic type of american restaurant.
